The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2024 will convene leaders from government, business, and civil society to address the state of the world and discuss priorities for the year ahead.
The event is taking place at a moment of ‘polycrisis,’ a coming together of multiple crises:
- Climate and biodiversity
- COVID-19 pandemic reset
- War in Ukraine
- War in Gaza
- Cost-of-living
A little under two weeks the event will bring together over 2,500 heads of state and government, business CEOs, civil society representatives, global media and youth leaders from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and North America to work together to rebuild trust and shape the principles, policies and partnerships needed to meet the challenges of 2024.
Delivering the ambition of ‘Rebuilding Trust’ the agenda will have four core pillars
- Security and Co-operation in a fractured World
- Creating Growth and Jobs
- AI as a driving force for the Economy and Society
- Long term Strategy for Climate, Nature and Energy
We look forward to an interesting series of meetings and progress in delivering these ambitious targets.
The Annual Meeting will provide a platform to engage in constructive, forward-looking dialogues and help find solutions through public-private cooperation.
