Business Development Manager – Vietnam

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Business Development & Client Relations Manager to lead our external communications, drive new business, and act as the key liaison between clients and internal teams. This individual will be at the heart of client success—managing expectations, resolving issues, expanding partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main communication bridge between clients and internal departments (Sales, Logistics, QC, Merchandising).

  • Lead proactive business development and sales efforts through outreach, networking, and identifying new growth opportunities.

  • Expand client base by fostering new business relationships and leveraging market trends.

  • Oversee the merchandising team for assigned accounts and ensure coordination across functions.

  • Track and manage client orders, timelines, and feedback, maintaining real-time communication and transparency.

  • Conduct market research and account analysis to anticipate client needs and inform sales strategies.

  • Provide expert guidance on products, both new and existing, aligned with client goals and preferences.

  • Build and maintain a detailed CRM database to enhance targeting and future sales campaigns.

  • Elevate customer satisfaction and retention by consistently delivering and exceeding expectations.

  • Actively prevent and resolve issues through ongoing communication and operational oversight.

  • Propose and coordinate the introduction of new products or upgrades through the supply chain.

  • Take a hands-on approach to all operational areas to support seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Vietnamese (written and spoken).

  • Strong skills in external communication, client relationship management, and expectation setting.

  • Proven track record in sales performance, with a results-driven mindset.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze markets, trends, and accounts to guide business growth.

  • Innovative thinker, proactive in identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.

  • Able to manage cross-functional teams and multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong networking capabilities and ability to build relationships across diverse markets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lived, studied, or worked abroad, especially in the U.S., with strong regional connections.

  • Deep understanding of international trade dynamics, client management, and cultural nuance.

  • Familiarity with supply chain, product development, and customer-centric processes.
