Country Manager – Turkey Sales & Lead

Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial country manager to lead our Izmir office, driving dual business streams while managing full P&L, operations, and team leadership. This role focuses on: 

  • Selling Turkish products to EU/global buyers (leveraging local supply chains) 
  • Selling Asian-sourced (China/Vietnam/India) products to Turkish clients (import model) 

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader (age 30+) with expertise in B2B sales, procurement, and office management, capable of building teams and executing ET2C’s sourcing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development Turkish Products for EU/Global Markets

  • Identify and onboard Turkish manufacturers (textiles, furniture, industrial components) for EU/US/Global Buyers 
  • Attend trade shows (e.g., Heimtextil, Hannover Messe) to promote Turkish sourcing. 
  • Negotiate contracts with Turkish suppliers for export-focused partnerships. 

Asian Products for Turkish Clients

  • Prospect and close deals with Turkish retailers, wholesalers, and industrial buyers needing cost-effective Asian imports.
  • Market ET2C’s China/Vietnam/India supplier network to local clients.
  • Manage pricing strategies to compete with local importers.

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

  • Develop new sales channels: distributors, agents, and direct buyers. 
  • Implement digital/offline lead-gen campaigns (LinkedIn, trade fairs, cold outreach). 
  • Achieve a minimum 75% conversion rate on qualified inquiries

2. Office & Operations Management Procurement & Sourcing Oversight

  • Direct supplier validation (audits, compliance checks) Turkish suppliers 
  • Negotiate costs, MOQs, and payment terms to protect margins. 
  • Coordinate with ET2C’s Asian offices for smooth procurement. 

Office Administration

  • Manage daily office operations. 

3. P&L & Team Leadership

  • Full accountability for Izmir office profitability. 
  • Control costs (office, payroll, sourcing) while scaling revenue. 
  • Lead by example: hands-on sales, client visits, supplier negotiations. 
  • Report directly to the CEO and the COO with monthly performance updates. 

Qualifications

  • Age 30+, dynamic, and aggressive in driving growth. 
  • 10+ years in international trade/sourcing, with 5+ years in sales/team leadership. 
  • Strong network in Turkish manufacturing/retail sectors (for dual-model execution). 
  • Expertise in procurement, supplier management, and B2B deal-closing. 
  • Fluent in English and Turkish (mandatory); German/Arabic a plus. 
  • Office management experience (HR, finance, compliance). 
  • Willingness to travel.
