Position Overview

The role is fully responsible for Group financial reporting and financial control across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

The position involves reviewing all financial internal control procedures and creating new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Group. The role ensures that Monthly Management Accounts are completed by the fifth working day following month-end and that they are fully accurate, with all accruals and prepayments correctly recorded. The role also requires full analysis of monthly budget versus actual expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities for the company, and providing clear explanations for major variances.

In addition, the role is responsible for implementing new authorisation procedures and conducting internal audits to review departmental costs. Accounting procedures must be reviewed regularly to maximise profitability and ensure efficient tax planning. The position also involves reviewing and improving reporting systems for Buying Office clients to simplify and enhance reporting processes. The role ensures that year-end audits for all companies are completed efficiently and effectively. Overseas travel may be required from time to time.

Job Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited university, with CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications preferred. Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar accounting systems is required. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, hard-working, and a creative problem solver with strong analytical and execution skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to influence and drive results across all levels of the organisation. The role requires over ten years of finance experience covering accounting, financial analysis, business analysis, and controllership, along with a demonstrated ability to collect, interpret, and analyse data to produce forecasts. Fluency in English is mandatory.
