HR Manager - Shanghai
Overview
The HR Manager will act as a strategic partner to support business goals by effectively managing HR functions. This role ensures the successful implementation of HR services, including Recruitment, Training & Development, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Develop and implement recruitment policies, processes, and strategies to attract top talent.
- Review and improve HR processes, including recruitment, salary structures, promotion policies, onboarding, and employment contracts.
- Enhance the onboarding process to ensure a structured one-week training and induction program for new employees.
2. Employee Development & Retention
- Develop and implement people development plans and learning programs to improve employee retention.
- Design competitive compensation and benefits (C&B) strategies and incentive schemes to attract and retain talent.
- Conduct performance management by coaching, addressing performance issues, employee development, and succession planning.
- Implement periodic reviews for long-term employees to increase engagement and contribution to company goals.
3. Employee Engagement & Company Culture
- Plan and execute company-wide training programs, particularly for managers.
- Develop a six-month plan for company events (e.g., bowling, karaoke, team-building activities) to enhance employee engagement.
- Promote a positive company culture by fostering strong inter-departmental relationships.
4. Performance Management & Compliance
- Review and update Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establish a quarterly review process for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and company regulations, adapting to changes as needed.
- Maintain HR records to support audits and compliance requirements.
- Provide feedback-driven improvements for HR processes and policies.
5. Strategic HR Initiatives
- Lead the ISO project within the company.
- Continuously seek feedback to enhance HR services and align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Contribute to enterprise culture development and employee engagement strategies.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the HR Director.
Job Requirements
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Problem-solving ability to analyze complex challenges and develop solutions.
- Relationship management skills to build effective working relationships across teams.
- Coaching and advisory experience to support managers on employee relations issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint preferred).
- Project management experience in HR-related initiatives.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
